“I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Berkeley and San Francisco.  I specialize in working with couples from diverse backgrounds and experience on many different aspects of their relationships.  We do not all enter relationships grounded or whole, but that does not mean secure relationships are out of reach.  Indeed, when couples can harness and cultivate security in their relationship much individual growth and healing can occur.  

As a couple & intimacy therapist, I am interactive, compassionate, and fair.  I am committed to helping couples understand one another so they can experience greater options, flexibility, and resilience in relating to their partner and so they can (re)discover refuge and enjoyment in their relationship.

My work is deeply grounded in a psychobiological approach to couple therapy as a trained PACT therapist.  It is also expansively informed by in-depth training in psychoanalytic approaches to couple relationships, Internal Family Systems, and somatic approaches for healing trauma including EMDR therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, as well as my research in the areas of attachment, couple relationships, and mindfulness.”
